Principal's Message

Hello Warren Families,
We only have 6.5 days left in this school year. This week your child will be turning in his or her Chromebook, charger, and Chromebook Backpack. Please make sure your child has cleaned out the backpack prior to turning it in. If your child is needing a little extra time to finish turning in their work, they will still have access to their Google Classrooms to turn in work even though their device will be turned in.

Our eighth grade promotion ceremony will be Monday, May 21st at 6:00pm at Warren. Please remember if your child owes fees, he or she will not be allowed to participate. We have been calling home, mailing home reminders, and we will be calling students down individually to let them know about not being able to participate. You will be able to pick up your child’s awards packet the next Tuesday, May 22nd, in the front office.

Has your child bought their yearbook yet? We have a few left. The cost is $20 and can be purchased in our front office.

Please make sure your child is bringing home all their treasures home from their lockers and ask them to stop by the lost in found area in the office as well.

On a personal note I wanted to thank you for a wonderful year at Warren. This will be last weekly update for Warren as I am being transferred to another position for next year. It has been a privilege to work with your students.  My new role in the district does not officially begin until July, Warren’s administration team for next year will be Kevin Warner as Principal, Theresa Carroll as Associate Principal, and AnneMArie Short as Assistant Principal/Athletic Director. Mrs. Short should be a familiar face to many as she is currently the Assistant Principal at Henry Leavenworth Elementary and has many years of previous experience at Warren.

Once again thank you for having such great students and it’s a great day to be a Warren Pioneer!
