Principal's Message

Hello Warren Families,
This past week we had a fire drill. Our students and staff exited the building quickly and knew exactly where to go in that crisis situation. We will practice our fire drills each month and I want to make sure you knew our policy in case you ever are visiting or trying to contact the school during a drill. During a drill we will not answer the phone or answer the door. This may be a little frustrating for you if you are trying to get to an appointment. Please understand that we will be happy to help you in any way possible once we complete our drill.
Have you checked out our social media accounts yet? Warren Middle School has a Twitter and a Facebook account and don’t forget to like our Warren PIE facebook page too.
We are in the process of changing out the Chromebook backpacks and I figured this is a good time to remind everyone that the school backpacks are to be used to carry the Chromebook between classes and back and forth from school. Of course students have the option to carry another backpack but I really need the Chromebook to be in the school issued one because it is specifically designed to absorb shock and protect the computer.
Our first quarter ends on October 1st. We recently shared an overview of the Pioneer Privilege Card program. I am excited students are going to earn extra incentives and opportunities based on their grades and behavior. I tell you this because now is a great time to check your child’s grades. The first quarter ends on October 6th and we have several students who need to put in that extra effort to get missing assignments turned in. Remember we offer tutoring at no charge Monday through Thursday each week in the library before and after school.
Once again thank you for having such great students and It’s a great day to be a Warren Pioneer!
